Dr. Lindenberg received his B.S Ed. from Millersville University; M.Ed. in Secondary School Counseling from Shippensburg University; and Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of Georgia (1977). He is a PA Certified School Psychologist. A pioneer in the Mental Health Counseling profession, he has been in private practice for over 35 years. He has done statewide, national and international consultation on subjects such as child abuse, techniques for counseling individuals and families, and professional leadership. Honors include: Jesse S. Heiges Outstanding Alumnus Award (’96); PA Counseling Association Eminent Practitioner Award (’88); and Who’s Who in America. Dr. Lindenberg has evaluated and testified throughout Central PA in hundreds of custody cases. He has had advanced family mediation training; victim-offender mediation training; is trained and recognized by local courts as a Parenting Coordinator; and is trained and qualified to be a Collaborative Law Mental Health Coach. Dr. Lindenberg is a Charter and Life Member as well as a Past-President of the American Mental Health Counselor’s Association; a Member of the National Association of School Psychologists; and a member of the National Education Association and the PA State Education Association. Steve is a member of the International Association of Collaborative Professionals and sits on the Executive Committee as a Member-At-Large of the Central PA Collaborative Professionals.
