Mrs. Maclay, an associate with the Mechanicsburg firm of the Law Offices of Peter J. Russo, P.C., concentrates her practice in the areas of family law (including divorce, custody, adoption, child support, alimony and spousal support/APL, and dispensation of assets and debt before, during and after marriage), as well as residential real estate transactions and real property dispute cases. She is a 1998 graduate of Dickinson College where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Mrs. Maclay is also a 2001 graduate of the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. She is admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. From law school graduation until October of 2002, Mrs. Maclay practiced in private practice as a general practitioner. She then became an associate with Saidis, Shuff, Flower & Lindsay where she was able to begin to focus her practice on family law and residential real estate transactions. From November of 2004 through mid-February of 2013, Mrs. Maclay returned to the firm of Daley Zucker Meilton Miner & Gingrich, LLC (DZMMG), where she had started her legal career as a law clerk to Attorey Kathleen Daley. While at DZMMG, Mrs. Maclay continued to focus on family law and residential real estate. Thereafter, in mid-February of 2013, she joined Attorney Peter J. Russo where she continues to focus on family law and where she will be able to expand her residential real estate practice. Adding to her credentials, Mrs. Maclay is a collaborative attorney, is trained in mediation, and she is also trained as a Parenting Coordinator. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) and an active member of the PBA Family Law Section where she just completed a 3-year commitment to a seat on Council. She is also active in the Dauphin County Bar Association (DCBA) where she is a past chair of their Family Law Section and in the Cumberland County Bar Association (CCBA) where she is the Support Committee Chair of the Family Law Section. She is also a member of the Collaborative Professionals of Central Pennsylvania. She has authored materials for, and lectured multiple times, for full-day seminars on the Law of Easements. In addition, she has authored materials and lectured at many of the Summer and Winter Meetings of the PBA’s Family Law Section where she was also a part of the Program Planning Committee for the 2011 Winter Meeting and the 2012 Summer Meeting. Finally, adding to her repetior, Mrs. Maclay is a regular speaker, moderator and author for family law courses offered by PBI and local County Bar Associations.
